Terms of Service

1. What Nisabi is

Nisabi is a free set of calculators for Gratuity, Zakat, Salary/GOSI, and VAT across GCC countries. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

2. Results are estimates, not advice

Every calculator on this site applies a standard formula sourced from labor law, tax authorities, or accepted Islamic finance practice, as documented on each calculator page. Real-world outcomes can differ because of contract-specific clauses, exemptions, termination circumstances, scholarly differences of opinion, or law changes we haven't caught up to yet. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or religious advice. For decisions that matter — a resignation, a Zakat payment, a payroll run — verify the figure with the relevant government authority, a qualified professional, or a scholar.

3. No warranty

Nisabi is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Rates, thresholds, and formulas change over time; we do our best to keep them current but don't guarantee it.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nisabi and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site's calculators or content — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential.

5. Acceptable use

Use the site for its intended purpose — running calculations. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at abusive volume, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

6. Third-party links

Calculator pages link to official government and institutional sources to cite where a formula comes from. We don't control or endorse the content of external sites.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, code, and written content are Nisabi's, except where a source is explicitly cited. You're welcome to link to any page; wholesale copying of the site's content or code isn't permitted without permission.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site grows. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

This is a plain-language terms document for a small, free calculator site. It is not a substitute for legal advice — if Nisabi grows into a larger commercial operation, have these terms reviewed by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
