How it's calculated
Based on basic salary only — housing, transport, and other allowances are excluded.
From 31 July 2023: a full month's basic wage per year, flat — no tiering.
Before 31 July 2023: 15 days' basic wage per year for years 1–3, then a full month per year from year 4 onward.
If your service spans the change, both parts are calculated separately on their own dates, then added together.
Minimum 1 year of total service required.
